The story of Beonder starts about 20 years ago. Herman Klein Velderman worked as a quality manager at a large production company, where he focused on improving internal processes. During periodic checks and audits, he recorded all information on paper. Herman thought that this process could be organized in a more efficient manner. That is why he developed a digital system that enabled him to easily fill in checklists and conduct safety audits.
After his job as quality manager, Herman started working as a risk engineer at a leading insurance company. Here he specialized on key areas such as fire safety and burglary prevention. He also started a project to develop a new risk management tool to make his work easier and more fun. This ultimately led to the foundation of our organization and the launch of a completely new and innovative risk management tool. Over the past years Beonder has been gradually growing and has made the software accessible in various branches.
